Thanksgiving Day Parade

In cooperation with the New York Police Department, the Fire Department of New York and the Port Authority of N.Y. and N.J., the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children's Foundation held its seventh annual Thanksgiving Day Parade Event on November 22, 2007 for children who lost a parent in the line of duty.

The Thanksgiving Day Parade event features an up-close look at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, great food, and games for the kids and their families at ESPN Zone in Times Square.

Mission Statement

The National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children's Foundation (NLEAFCF) is dedicated to helping children of law enforcement and firefighting personnel. The Foundation provides financial support to both children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardships due to tragic circumstances. NLEAFCF also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by law enforcement and firefighting organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.
